House in Grimaud, near Cogolin and St. Tropez The house is built on a slight hillside on two levels, with the main living areas on the ground level. A large covered veranda for alfresco dining overlooks the 10 X 4 meter private pool and barbecue area. Sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms), a separate studio (sleeps 1) is available. This is an ideal family property accommodating up to 4 adults and 2/3 children of various ages in a very peaceful location, yet within a short drive of a wide choice of restaurants, shops and the Cogolin and St. Tropez beaches. On the entry level floor is the large living room with open fireplace leading to a sun room and a small dining area. There is a large family room with wall mounted plasma TV with Sky and DVD player and Gustavian style Swedish tables and chairs and a sofa-bed. The Provence style kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine and dryer. On this level is also an en-suite bedroom. Stairs lead down to the lower bedroom level where there is a children's bedroom with a single bed and an unusual alcove double bed. Doors lead to an outside terrace. Here also is the main bathroom with bath and shower leading into a large double bedroom with an antique Swedish bed. The outside covered terrace has a large marble-top table and eight chairs overlooking the pool. The house is built on 2000 sq. metres of forest land. It sits behind electric gates and has a small lawn and cultivated garden area in front with gravel space for car parking. The private swimming pool of 10 x 4 metres is at the side of the house taking advantage of the sun and has 4 chaise longues with cushions and an umbrella. The large stone barbecue area, has its own patio with marble topped tables and chairs for dining. The main property has multi levels and is therefore not suitable for guests with mobility problems - the garden studio however is built on one level. Bedrooms: Upper level bedroom 1 with double French 4 poster bed. Lower level Bedroom 2 with double Swedish antique bed. Lower level children's bedroom 3, with single bed and double alcove bed. (Single couch-bed in family room suitable for teenager). Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with shower, WC. Family bathroom to bedroom 2 with bath/shower over, bidet and seperate WC. Separate upper level shower-room with WC. Kitchen: Provencal kitchen with convection oven, microwave, gas and electric hobs, Fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Pine table and 4 chairs. Utility Room: Double utility Sink, drinks fridge/freezer, vacuum cleaner. Living Rooms: Open fireplace. Two double leather sofas with coffee table and two armchairs leading to small dining area with dining table and six chairs. Family room with two dining tables, bench and six chairs. Single couch/sofabed, coffee table and TV. Other: Moroccan couch and table leads to small sun room suitable for reading or playing card games with pine Bench and antique box table. Amenities/Facilities provided Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/ironing board, satellite tv, tv, internet access, central heating, room fans, cot, high chair, barbecue, private pool (for sole use of hob/stove, oven, fridge/freezer, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, guests), pets accepted. Accommodation is available on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday, (excepting the low season when other periods of stay may be accepted if available.) The house is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on departure day. Booking notes Bookings should be made directly and are only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total value of the stay. Balance of payment is payable 8 weeks before arrival date together with the Security deposit. In the event of cancellation, payments are only returned if the cancelled week/s are filled less any additional expenses so holiday insurance is recommended. The Security Deposit of € 750 is payable to cover any losses or damages, refundable within 7 days of departure. Pricing per week
Pets welcome, extra costs € 50 per week. Pricing for: Studio (for 1 person) and the house (for 4 persons, bed for a child, 'cupbordbed' + sofabed for 2 persons). Cleaning per week. Final cleaning € 180 per stay, for two weeks or longer the mid stay cleaning and linen is an extra of € 80 per week and is payable locally to the Housekeeper. Security/damage deposit € 750 (refundable). Towels (including pool towels) and bedlinen are supplied. Check availability |
